Our Focus:

Our focus here is how you can be delivered through righteousness. Remember that you have been delivered through repentance from the powers of darkness and have been translated into the everlasting kingdom of God. You are a righteousness person already. But temptations and trials will come to try your faith. You can only overcome such situations through faith and righteousness and not by repentance again.

Righteousness Defined

Therefore, what is righteousness? It is the moral perfection required from you by God to overcome trials and temptations, and to enter into heaven, wherein dwells righteousness. II Peter 3:13

Whose Standard For Righteousness:

This is not your standard of moral perfection. It is the standard code of conduct stipulated in the holy Scriptures by God for you to follow, yield to, abide in and continue thereon till he returns to redeem his own blood bought possession. Acts 20:28.

Biblical Example of Deliverance Through Righteousness

We have read in Daniel chapter 3 on how the righteousness of the heroes of faith worked with their faith. "Faith without righteousness is like a filthy rag." "Righteousness exalt a nation but sin is a reproach to any people." Proverbs 14:34; 11:5-6. Your righteousness that is rooted in Jesus Christ will exalts you above all your challenges, difficulties, and powers of darkness. Consider Daniel, how he was delivered through faith and righteousness from the lions den. Paul and Silas were delivered through faith and righteousness when they were thrown in prison. You see how the faith and righteousness of the brethren in Jerusalem moved God to deliver Peter from prison. Righteousness will always exalts you. Give it a trial because a trial will convinced you.

Challenges Are Always There - Prepared To Be Delivered

As a Christian, you will face slots of challenges, but the Lord will deliver you from them all.. "Many are the afflicted of the righteous but the Lord delivers them all."  The Lord will only deliver the righteous. "... the seed of the righteous shall be delivered." Proverbs 11:21
