Deliverance Through Repentance from Sin

Deliverance through repentance is one of the topics in this theme: "Deliverance."

Deliverance simply means to rescue from danger, oppression, suffering and something tormenting.

I have noticed that almost everyone out there, is seeking for deliverance from one things or the other. It never a wrong step to take to be free from what-so-ever bitter experience you may be having. But the question is;"how do you get this deliverance?"

Many have sold their soul to the devil for to be delivered from one ugly experience or the other. Some have gone to join secret cults while others have committed several abominable and immoral acts just to save themselves from the difficulty they are facing. Another question is; "where they actually delivered?" The answer is apparently, no. That is when the situation got worsen.

I bring to you this day, a true deliverance from the presence of God, the Almighty. Who created the entire universe and all that is in it. He only is able to deliver you and to keep you safe through all eternity in Jesus Christ name. Amen!

Deliverance Through Repentance by being a Christian: Acts 17:30-31.

In Colossians 1:13, the bible said, "Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son..." In this reading, you will discover two things: 

1. Deliverance

2. Translation

Deliverance is not complete without translation. Explaining further, if you are delivered from poverty without be given a steady source of income, you will be caught with poverty in no distant time. Similarly, if you are delivered from the power of darkness and not being translated into the kingdom of God, you will soon be broken in pieces by the devil for threatening him to live his control without actually gaining full control over the devil.

You will want to ask, 'when doe these events take place?' In Mark 16:16, we read that 

'he who believes and is baptized shall be saved but he who does not believe will be condemned.' 

And in 

Romans 8:1, we also read: 'There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.' 

From the above reading, you will agree with me that you need to be a Christian to be delivered by God through Jesus Christ. Only when you are a Christian, that you can be delivered and translated into the kingdom of Christ where you will now enjoy the everlasting benefits in Christ Jesus.

Steps to your Deliverance through Repentance:

1. Hear (read) the gospel of Jesus Christ. Romans 10:17

2. Believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ. John 8:24, Hebrew 11:6

3. Repent of your sins. Acts 17:30

4. Confess Christ as the Son of God. Romans 10:10

5. Be baptized into Christ. Acts 2:38, Acts 22:16.

These are the steps that you need to take to land yourself in your deliverance and translation. When you do this, God, the Almighty will do the deliverance and the translation as we have read in Colossians 1:13.
